Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) make complex decisions every day while balancing the needs of children, families and staff. That's why Brent Schools Partnership has introduced DSL Supervision—a confidential, professionally facilitated space where safeguarding leaders can reflect, strengthen decision-making and support their own professional wellbeing.

Our supervision model is underpinned by three key functions:

Deepen safeguarding knowledge, sharpen professional judgement and develop confident responses to complex and evolving situations.
Test Assurance
Constructively examine decisions, actions and systems. Reflect on safeguarding responsibilities, statutory duties and professional accountability to support schools in ensuring their safeguarding practice remains robust and compliant.
Sustain the Safeguarder
Provide dedicated time to reflect on the emotional demands of safeguarding, helping DSLs build resilience and maintain professional wellbeing.

- BSP Members: £600 per school, per year
- Non-Members: £1,000 per school, per year
- One session per half term
