These are open to BSP member schools only (exception- the New Headteacher’s Group).  

Facilitated by a Headteacher Coach, each group will meet as a set of professionals brought together to support, reflect and develop one's own role/work.   It is a ‘work problem’ discussion group that will meet together in a supportive, nurturing and confidential format to explore issues, share good practice and share a group coaching experience.  Coaching research has demonstrated that this type of work together reduces isolation and stress.  It has had a beneficial impact on personal well-being.

 

Each Group size is limited to 8 participants, so it will be closed when spaces are filled.  To join a group requires the commitment from the school and the individual to attend all sessions face to face.  Although the Coaching Group is free of charge to members, it is a big commitment for our Headteacher Coaches and other participants in the group.  The Coaching Group requires excellent attendance without exception from all participants.
